Jejudo Island, which is registered as Jeju Volcanic Island and Lava Tubes in the UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a global resort area where over ten millions of domestic and overseas tourists visit every year. The new building of the Jeju Church was established close to the city hall which is at the center of the island, and its dedication worship service was held on August 6, 2016.
At the dedication service held along with the Sabbath worship service, Mother repeatedly expressed how glad She was to meet the heavenly family members there in a long time, and complimented them for making efforts for the gospel in one mind until today. Mother also earnestly prayed that every church in Jejudo Island would spread God’s glory far and wide under the blessing of God.

General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol congratulated them on the completion of a big church building on Jejudo Island, where the gospel work started in a small house church, and prayed that many residents would get salvation here. He also emphasized, “Those who have met God the Father and God the Mother, who give eternal life in this age, are truly the happiest people. Since we have received such blessings, we should go throughout Jejudo Island and toward seven billion people in the world to deliver the love of God the Mother and lead them all to true happiness.”
The Jeju Church with a gorgeous and sophisticated atmosphere has five floors above the ground and two underground. Many local governments and enterprises, including Jeju Regional Headquarters Korea Coast Guard and Jeju Police Training Center, congratulated the members on the dedication of the new church building by sending standing wreaths. The neighboring citizens expressed their will to join the church’s voluntary service, saying, “At first, we simply thought the church building was so beautiful. But after we knew that the church received the Queen’s Award for voluntary service in the U.K., we were so surprised.”
So far, Jeju Church members have cleaned up and preserved the environment around Olle Trail, Sagye-ri Sports Park, Yeondae Port in Oedo-dong, and Segwipo Ilho Square where many citizens and tourists come and go, and also they have taken the lead in various volunteer services such as blood drives and giving a helping hand to farmers. Resolving to contribute to their community through the mission work and volunteer service with God’s love, they all shouted in one voice, “Everybody, come to the Church of God!”
