In June, when the trees were dyed green, the “New Jerusalem Festival for Families” was successively held every week at the Okcheon Go&Come Training Institute. The Church members of each Union and their families were invited to the festival successively: Central Districts Union, Honam Districts Union, Northern Seoul Districts Union, Busan Districts Union, Gyeongnam Districts Union, Western Gyeonggi Districts Union, and Southern Seoul Districts Union. Every time, over 10,000 people participated in the event and made many good memories, sharing food together around the Institute.

At the welcome ceremony, Mother extend-ed a heartfelt welcome and gratitude to the members and their families, and wished them to sustain their family bonds in heaven as well and share eternal joy and happiness together. General Pastor Joo-Cheol Kim introduced the Church of God that promotes family harmony and happiness, and wished them to share the love of the heavenly family through the blessed opportunity and to always live in peace.

After the welcome ceremony, the members and their families saw various performances by the Children’s Choir, the Orchestra, the United Choir, etc. They also enjoyed Korean traditional folk games such as neolttwigi (seesaw jumping), jegichagi (shuttlecock kicking), gulungsoi (trundling a hoop), and many more.

Since the “New Jerusalem Festival for Families” was held for the first time last November, more and more people have been continuing their bonds to the heavenly family and sharing beautiful heavenly love together. This gracious event will continue.
