Now, all the prophecies of the Bible are being amazingly fulfilled. Just in time, God allowed a beautiful temple to be constructed for the overseas visiting groups that kept getting larger in scale year after year. On January 3, a dedication service for the 2nd New Jerusalem Temple located in Sujeong District, Seongnam City, was graciously held, along with the first Sabbath service of the new year. Members from the Churches in nearby regions, including Sujeong in Seongnam and Suseo in Gangnam, Seoul, attended the dedication service, and they shared the blessings of the Sabbath and the joy for the completion of the temple together.

Through the prayer of blessing, Mother thanked Father for opening a blessed new year with a dedication service. She prayed that the fervor for the gospel would spread from this temple to the whole world so that God’s word would be preached to Samaria and to the ends of the earth. She also prayed that the overseas members who visit this temple would witness and realize the love and glory of God to the fullest and grow to be great prophets. In addition, She blessed Her children to lead numerous souls trembling with fear because of various disasters to Zion, with the water of life as the mainspring of world evangelism, so that the year 2009 would see the completion of salvation.

General Pastor Joo-Cheol Kim thanked God Elohim for allowing the new temple to be constructed, and wished God’s blessings upon every Church of God, all its members and their families throughout the world. He stated, “The 2nd New Jerusalem Temple will be a place of grace where people from all nations gather together to learn how to glorify God Elohim and praise Them to the fullest.” He also urged the members, saying, “As the children of Zion, let’s give glory only to God Elohim, praising and worshiping Them with all our heart, mind and strength, like David who was designated by God as ‘a man after My own heart.’ ”

The 2nd New Jerusalem Temple is a beautiful European-style building with 1 underground level and 2 stories above ground. The Temple consists of a main worship hall, a small worship hall, an interpretation room, a reception room, a cafeteria and resting area. There are also some separate buildings for education and lodging as well as subsidiary facilities in the Temple. It is anticipated that the overseas members’ visit will occur more frequently as the world mission is being carried out very quickly. So, the 2nd New Jerusalem Temple will become a unique sanctuary of the gospel where people from around the world gather together to praise God Elohim.
