The fact that new temples are established nationwide proves that more people are accepting God the Mother year after year. It also shows that many people need the truth that can fill their empty hearts and love that can comfort their weary souls in this loveless world.

After ten churches in Incheon, Gyeonggi, Gyeongnam, Gyeongbuk in Korea had dedication services for their new temples in January and February, six more churches in Gyeonggi Province held their dedication ceremonies in March: the Byeongjeom and Bongdam Churches in Hwaseong City (March 7), the Guri Church and the Yangju Church (March 10), the Choji Church in Ansan and the Icheon Church (March 14).

Members from neighboring churches were also present at the dedication services and filled not only the main worship halls and the fellowship rooms but also education rooms, audiovisual rooms, and multipurpose rooms. They gave thanks to God for granting spacious and beautiful temples, and con- firmed that the gospel of the new covenant would prosper according to the prophecies of the Bible.

Base for learning God and having faith

Mother complimented the members on their prayers and hard united work until the temples were established, and prayed that God’s abundant blessings and grace would come upon them. “In order to find all our lost heavenly family members wandering in darkness, we should shine the light of the truth diligently. Let’s prepare the oil spiritually and establish our faith on the firm foundation of God, so that we can be good examples to those who will be led to Zion in the future. Let’s also love our brothers and sisters like our own body and achieve the true unity,” said Mother.

General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol emphasized that we must know God and follow Him in order to complete the gospel work of saving souls with firm faith just as Mother said. He explained when we accept the true God and love Him testified in the Bible, we can rightly pray, worship, preach, and volunteer.

“Although we claim to believe in God and love Him, if we do not know who God is, we cannot reach salvation. Not only the words from Genesis to Revelation, but also the principle of nature—all living beings receive life from their mothers and pass it down to the next generation—testifies to the existence of God the Mother. All our religious acts can lead us to salvation only when we accept God the Mother along with God the Father,” he said.

The fact that new temples are established nationwide proves that more people are accepting God the Mother year after year. It also shows that many people need the truth that can fill their empty hearts and love that can comfort their weary souls in this loveless world.

All members advance to complete the gospel work, pacing the prophecies

Jesus asked His disciple Peter, “Do you love me?” three times and Peter answered, “Yes,” all three times. Then Jesus said to him, “Feed my sheep,” repeatedly (Jn 21:15–17). Preaching the gospel and taking care of the sheep is the mission entrusted to the believers who love God.

“Those who love God with all their heart and mind never waver no matter what trouble comes to them; they can devote themselves to the work of the gospel and complete the race of faith,” said Pastor Kim Joo-cheol, emphasizing the mindset of believers. Quoting Isaiah 14:24–27, “Surely, as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will stand,” he urged the members, “Even though circumstances may be difficult, if we firmly believe God’s words and shine the glory of God the Mother, those who love God will come like clouds and doves from afar and the gospel will be preached to Samaria and to the ends of the earth. Let’s obey God’s words at every moment so that we may not regret later. Let’s do our best in the given situation and complete the gospel as soon as possible.”

As Pastor Kim Joo-cheol expressed, “God’s prophecies were fulfilled, are being fulfilled, and will be fulfilled,” the Church of God has grown according to the Bible prophecies, and now it’s running toward the finish line of the world evangelism. Since Christ Ahnsahnghong established the Church of God in 1964, the gospel of the new covenant has been preached to alleys, to towns, and to cities; particularly, after the year of 2000, it has been delivered rapidly throughout the world. Now the number of the total church members is far more than two million.

Pastor Kim Wahng-hyeon, who came to Korea for the General Assembly 2015 from the Faucett Church in Peru, participated in one of the dedication service and was amazed, “The prophecies of the Bible is being fulfilled as God leads His army.” As a person who has worked for overseas mission since the late 1990s, he showed his expectations, “Until now, more than ninety churches have been established in Peru including branch churches. The gospel work in Korea is still growing though it already has more than 400 churches. I’m sure Peru will also grow even faster and see prosperous results.”

Until March this year, sixteen dedication services have been held in Korea.. Still, more than twenty churches are waiting for their dedication ceremonies after finishing building their new temples. The members at each church are busy decorating the new building to make a resting place where many souls would revive according to God’s will. Some churches already ask for a bigger place even after expansion as new members keep coming in. Happy requests seem to continue in 2015 as it is written in Isaiah 49:20, “This place is too small for us; give us more space to live in.”
