On 19th of December, the awarding ceremony for gospel fruit bearers was held in Okcheon Training Institue. Precious awards were allowed to the members who had led lots of souls to God for 3 months from September to November.

Contrary on the first and second awarding ceremonies which were held 2 times each according to age, at this third ceremony all the young and elderly members attended it together and shared the happiness of being awarded. All the members, who gathered in Okcheon Training Institute to receive awards or to celebrate them, had a gracious time both in the big and small auditoriums.

At noon, they watched a video film first. It was about the Church of God in Wonmi District in Bucheon City, which had pleased God by constantly bearing lots of fruit since the first quarter.

The video contained bright faces of the members who are delivering love and happiness and smile, the trace of efforts to be one wondering how they could love each other more as they began as a combined church, the members who enjoy listening to the sermon tapes to have mind full of the Holy Spirit, the families who share God's grace and the food of words by practising preaching every day, and the pastor and assistants who start a day by reading the Books of Truth early in the morning and so on. It was very touching.

The attendants realized the way to be awake this age from the film and wrote on their hearts the fact that the best way to please God is to be one in love and to smile.

During the worship service, Mother congratulated the efforts of the members who labored and worked hard to bear fruit for one year and said, "You will be blessed as much as you labored, so give thanks to God always and work hard like the Apostle Paul so that you can be the children who please God by leading a lot of souls in 2005, too." Mother also showed 2 Peter chapter 1 and said, "To bear much fruit you have to participate in the divine nature. A glass of cold water that you drink in hot summer gives us a great pleasure, but it's only in an instance. However, the word of water of life from God never dries and gives eternal happiness; it is the best medicine of the best quality. Be an example to the brothers and sisters with love and consideration and preach the truth to more people so that you can receive plenty of heavenly awards."

The Chief Pastor Joo Cheol Kim welcomed and introduced the 14 members from Peru and Chicago, USA, and the foreign members who preach the gospel in Korea and the students from overseas respectively. He also reminded us of with what thoughts and faith we have to preach the gospel this age through the sermon, 'The difference between the prophecies of prophets and the thoughts of people.'

He said, "We have to follow Go, regarding the prophecies of the prophets as a compass rather than the thoughts and common senses of humans as we are the believers of the Bible. People are liable to judge the Providence of God with the thoughts of humans rather than with the prophecies of the prophets this age just as the so-called believers of God crucified Christ by regarding their common senses more important than the prophecies n the Bible 2,000 years ago. To believe what every one can believe is not faith, but to believe what is hard to believe is the true faith."

Before the main ceremony a congratulatory event was held. The overseas members gave thanks and glory to God by singing a new song. The members from Peru in their traditional clothes made us feel the exotic sentiment. The Children Choir showed traditional dances in different traditional clothes of various countries. The members from Peru applauded the children for their dance in Peruvian clothes.

In the main awarding ceremony, the gospel workers, who obtained good results by preaching the gospel hard in the third quarter, received awards and extra prizes on the stage. The ceremony was more joyful and meaningful as the members from Peru received awards on the stage for Peru Church was also one of those who achieved great outcomes of the gospel.

After receiving the award, Missionary Joon-ho Kong from Peru showed his impressions and will in Spanish, saying, "I give thanks to God with all my heart for allowing us to be here and the award as well I will be a son who can give thanks and glory to God by bearing more fruits."

The member Min-ok Yoon, who bore much fruit in the third quarter, said, "God gave me an award even though I only walked the way of faith with a happy mind of repenting and giving thanks to God. God gave me a good fruit when I loved brothers and sisters heartily and realized the importance of life. I have realized that it is not my ability to bear fruit, but it is a gift from God who reads my heart. I give thanks to God for allowing me a precious award even though I didn't do anything."

"Many peoples and powerful nations will come to Jerusalem to seek the LORD Almighty and to entreat him. In those days ten men from all languages and nations will take firm hold of one Jew by the hem of his robe and say, 'Let us go with you, because we have heard that God is with you'" (Zech. 8:22-23).

Members of the Church of God are following the footprints of God and His prophets toward heaven, not the footprints of people running without direction.

We hope that all the brothers and sisters become the prophets who walk in steps with the prophecies of the prophets with love and enthusiasm, and bear abundant fruit again this year so that we all can receive the heavenly awards.
